Project Manager

Enthusiastic and highly motivated person with particular interest in healthcare projects to the benefit of the society. I enjoy practicing sports, going to the cinema, reading good thrillers and travelling.

Pilar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid (Spain) and a PhD in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry from the Welsh School of Pharmacy, Cardiff University (UK). After three years of carrying out Scientific Research at public institutions (Welsh School of Pharmacy, Cardiff University and Medicinal Chemistry institute, CSIC, Madrid) she moved to the Biotech-Pharma industry where she was managing R&D Medicinal Chemistry projects as a Senior Scientist., for nearly 10 years, gaining wide expertise leading R&D projects from their early research stage, through drug-product development and scale up. She is author of more than 12 scientific publications published in relevant journals of international prestige and retains 6 international patents. She has been at Evolution for two years and is Senior Project Manager within the framework of the Horizon H2020 programme. Whilst she is involved in proposal preparation in many technological sectors she has especial interest in healthcare and Biotech-pharma projects.
