María has a PhD in Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Madrid and extensive experience in the R&D field. She has developed her professional career for over 15 years working on innovative processes and technology transfer. She has also coordinated applied engineering projects about life sciences, biotechnology, and more recently, about new health sciences. During the last years, she has led innovation, protection of knowledge and technology activities. María has also managed collaborations between public entities, SMEs and big international and national companies.
She is very curious and hard-working. She likes to think that every challenge is the best opportunity to improve. In her spare time, she loves to read crime novels and enjoys designing and sewing her own clothes.
