TerraceLab is the first FaaS (‘Farming as a Service’) in Spain, democratising access to nature through an experiential urban agriculture service in big cities. They believe in raising awareness and educating communities, injecting green life into the spaces they frequent most. That’s why they manage indoor farming as a B2B service, using plug and play vertical farming modules that add green life to almost any space without disrupting their clients’ infrastructures: schools, workplaces and residential properties.

TerraceLab enables businesses to grow on their own premises, with fresh produce and zero waste, regenerating private spaces and creating comfortable, engaged environments. They use advanced technology such as IoT sensors and machine learning to operate remotely and efficiently. This combination of nature and technology offers the unique opportunity to grow fresh produce without the need for agricultural knowledge.

The company has received funding from ENISA (Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism) for entrepreneurs and SMEs through the Agroimpulso line. This line of financing is designed to promote the digital transformation of companies in the agri-food and rural sector.
