Monitoring hundreds of video surveillance cameras is arduous and practically impossible for public and private security professionals. Existing systems today are not designed for large spaces and often cannot store and process all the recorded material, due mainly to the costs involved and the required bandwidth.
To solve this problem, Lanaccess has developed a robust, lightweight video analytics system to perform an initial image processing before uploading it to the server. Thanks to its AI, it can distinguish elements more efficiently, in real-time and without saturating the bandwidth. Its performance is a novelty compared to other products on the market: minimising the associated costs for the development and construction of the system.
Thanks to its innovative proposal to improve video surveillance through technology, Lanaccess has obtained funding from CDTI’s PID line.
