Once again this year, Innosuisse is presenting a new edition of the Swiss Accelerator, its key programme to promote Swiss small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups, which aims to fill the funding gap after Switzerland lost access to the EIC Accelerator.

This programme exclusively supports individual SMEs and start-ups domiciled in Switzerland, established on the market and with up to 250 full-time equivalents.
How does your innovative project need to be?
Submitted projects for the Swiss Accelerator aim to be commercialised quickly and with high innovation potential.
If your proposal gets funded, how much will Innosuisse cover?
Innosuisse can cover up to 70% of eligible costs and a funding amount of 2.5 million CHF maximum.
What costs are eligible for Swiss Accelerator?
Wages, material and equipment costs of your project can be included.
What does the application process involve?
The application for the Swiss Accelerator is a 3-step process:
- Short application: Three experts will evaluate your project following criteria in four areas: innovation, value creation, project set-up and cost-benefit ratio.
- Full application: After sharing more information and details about the development and research of your project, three independent experts will decide if your submission moves to the last step.
- Interview: You will be invited to present your project to a jury.
