Due to the activities of ships and fisheries, the current state of polluting spills in the oceans is a cause for global concern. For this reason, Ocean Technology and its OC-Tech project have proposed a ship-shaped solution with the capacity to collect fuel waste, floating waste and respond to algae and jellyfish infestations.
Among its main benefits are versatility, since it is a ship that, in addition to cleaning, allows to be used for nautical works such as rescue, assistance, repair and cleaning; in addition, it has a capacity of up to 12 crew members. Thanks to its storage capacity, it allows long periods of time to remain at sea, saving approximately 55% in fuel and working hours.
