CDTI Increases Cervera Grants for Technology Centres 2026 to €69.5 Million
The CDTI (Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation) has announced an increase of nearly €50 million in funding for the Cervera Grants for Technology Centres 2026, raising the total budget from €20 million to €69.5 million.
The additional funding comes from the Industrial and Technological Plan for Security and Defence and will support projects focused on five priority Cervera technologies: advanced digital twins, quantum sensors, hypersonic flight technologies, kinetic electromagnetic systems, and advanced metamaterials and nanomaterials.
This funding increase will enable more strategic projects to receive support, strengthening technology transfer, R&D, and collaboration between technology centres and businesses.
Importantly, this budget increase does not reopen the application period. The additional funding will be allocated to projects submitted during the 2026 call, between 11 June and 10 July 2026.
Companies developing R&D projects and interested in exploring funding opportunities under the CDTI Cervera programme can learn more about the related business funding instrument on Evolution Europe’s Cervera Grants page.
