Project Overview

The CLEVER-HEN project aims to develop an autonomous smart system for the detection, monitoring and elimination of biological risks in intensive poultry farms. The solution combines advanced technologies for autonomous navigation, automated environmental sampling and biological decontamination.

The initiative seeks to improve biosecurity in poultry farming facilities, reduce exposure to potentially hazardous biological agents, enhance animal health and contribute to the sustainability and competitiveness of the agri-food sector.

The project’s expected results include the development of an autonomous prototype for environmental sampling, bioaerosol monitoring and the decontamination of poultry farming facilities using advanced navigation and control technologies.

The project is co-funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), the Spanish General State Administration and the Community of Madrid.

Total grant awarded to the project: €224,998.29
Amount co-funded by the EAFRD (80%): €179,998.63
