OncoReHub – DyCare
The Problem
Cancer patients, particularly those with breast or lung cancer, continue to face significant physical and emotional side effects that severely impact their quality of life and functional recovery.
However, traditional rehabilitation models present major limitations, including dependence on in-person sessions, difficulties in personalising therapies, and a lack of continuous monitoring. This limits treatment adherence and reduces the efficiency of care processes.
The Project
To address this need, DyCare has developed OncoReHub, a pioneering digital platform that integrates artificial intelligence, computer vision, and virtual assistants to provide automated initial diagnosis, assess mobility and clinical condition, and generate personalised therapeutic recommendations for each patient.
The platform enables remote patient monitoring, dynamic therapy adjustments, and the generation of detailed clinical reports, optimising healthcare professionals’ time and improving treatment adherence.
Among its most innovative features are an intelligent voice assistant capable of performing clinical assessments based on validated questionnaires for oncology patients, real-time biomechanical analysis adapted to limitations caused by surgeries and aggressive treatments, and the automatic generation of personalised exercise programmes through deep learning algorithms.
The Impact
OncoReHub is expected to reduce in-person sessions by up to 53%, increase treatment adherence by up to 80%, and significantly shorten recovery times, generating important benefits for patients, healthcare professionals, and healthcare systems.
In addition, its implementation could generate direct annual savings of €12.5 million in Spain, while also contributing to environmental sustainability through the reduction of travel and CO₂ emissions.
The Result
Thanks to the support and funding provided by Innova Invest, DyCare is advancing the development and validation of an innovative solution with strong potential to transform oncology rehabilitation.
Through this initiative, the company is positioning itself as an international benchmark in oncology telerehabilitation, driving the digital transformation of the healthcare sector and helping improve the quality of life of thousands of patients.
The project received more than €282K through the Innova Invest programme, enabling DyCare to accelerate the international validation and scalability of its AI-driven oncology rehabilitation solution.
