Head of Funding Strategy

Susanne Oliver is Head of Funding Strategy at Evolution Europe. Susanne has more than two decades of experience advising public and private companies on investor messaging and raising EU public funding. Susanne worked with Iconiq Innovation as Head of EIC Accelerator Business in 2023-2024. From 2015 until February 2023, she worked with ZAZ Ventures, the first six years as a grant writer and the last two years as Head of Proposal Strategy. During her time with ZAZ, Susanne wrote eight successful proposals, co-wrote a further two and co-managed 24 successful proposals.

From 2006 to 2012, Susanne was a Senior Consultant at CNC Communications & Network Consulting, a strategic corporate communications consultancy, where she focused on investor relations. Susanne’s clients have spanned a wide range of industries, including renewable energy, industrial manufacturing and logistics, chemicals, and steel. Prior to joining CNC, Susanne worked as an independent consultant for DaimlerChrysler AG, Nordex SE and other clients. Prior to this, Susanne was a sell-side equity analyst from 1984 to 2000, including eight years with Credit Suisse First Boston where she covered the European automotive industry.
